Somatic Sound Therapy

nervous system focused bodywork that integrates tuning forks, somatic embodiment, and myofascial release.

The ultimate goal of this work is to dismantle extractive systems of harm by first bringing awareness to how we embody them internally-

we can then replace painful tension patterns with nourishing, life affirming ones instead.

By slowing down and connecting with nature through our very own bones, we can become wild again- no longer captive to internal chains of urgency and worth… We become feral.

By being in the body, we can gently begin to shift in the direction of wellness.

This modality is largely inspired and informed by Eastern Medicine Lineages, using sound and myofascial release to allow more ease of movement in the physical, energetic, and emotional bodies.

This work can be deepened with a microdosing protocol to assist in disrupting the default mode network, and creating new neural pathways in the brain along with new holding patterns in the body.

My approach also often integrates Somatic Parts Work (inspired by IFS), where we tune into our “parts”, where they live in the body, and then dialogue with them through touch communication.
